Vocollect and Dematic Partner to Deliver Leading Edge Voice Solutions to International Market
Vocollect Inc and Dematic GmbH,leaders in the Voice Directed work market, have announced a European distribution agreement that will see Dematic,
a supplier of automated logistics solutions become a Distributor of Vocollect's voice applications across the region. The new collaboration will see a broader offering of voice solutions for the logistics market than currently available today.
Dematic is one of the world's leading full service suppliers of integrated automated material handling and logistics solutions. It provides a large range of leading edge technologies, ranging from individual components to complete turnkey solutions, software products and full range of support services.
The speed and accuracy of Voice-directed work increases pick rates and productivity, whilst virtually eliminating errors. The partnership allows Dematic to become a direct distributor for Vocollect Voice, delivering to customers stand-alone Voice systems as well as integrating Voice technology into intelligent automated solutions more cost-effectively.
Dematic's innovative solutions extend the capabilities of Vocollect's Voice to deliver markedly increased operational performance, including Voice-Pick Carts for more efficient item picking, conveyor picking systems using Voice for increased flexibility, and the award-winning Voice-Pick Guided Vehicles doubling case picking productivity.
The new package of offerings also extends Voice applications into both small and medium sized enterprises, by offering a cost effective, stand alone package that is easily installed. The solution integrates with leading WMS and ERP systems, as well as in-house legacy systems.
